A beginner's guide to landscape transformation, written by one of the nation's most experienced Permaculture designers with decades of experience designing more than 400 projects and helping thousands of people get started. Transform your landscape into an easy, abundant, beautiful, home paradise with this program created by a professional teacher-trainer and university education expert, and refined over 20 years of live programs with real students! Have your easiest and most productive garden ever. And do it without poisons, plastics or petroleum products.

The secret to an easy, abundant garden is creating a healthy ecosystem to support it! Instead of fighting nature, we can recruit nature to provide fertility, do weeding for us, prevent pests and diseases, and even help water the garden.

This book is filled with the beginner projects that will teach you to be an expert gardener and Permaculturist while you transform you landscape. This program has helped hundreds of real people transform their landscapes, and now the book can help you!

Michael Hoag has been a life-long gardener, farmer, and now a Permacutlure professional for over 20 years, who has taught the subject at colleges and universities, and in private courses to thousands of students over decades. And as a university education expert who has designed college curricula and taught other teachers to create effective educational programs, he brings a uniquely qualified background to creating a program designed to teach beginners how to have their best garden ever.
Michael grew up farming and helping on a market garden, and has worked on farms and gardens of all scales for 40 years. As a educator he has been a teacher, lecturer, and featured guest speaker at many universities and colleges. He has worked designing curricula and educating teachers at multiple colleges and universities, learning how to design effective educational programs.

In 2010, after a decade of teaching Permaculture, he began his  Landscape Transformation Program, designed to help beginners transform their landscapes. Over the last decade, dozens of other educators and education experts have contributed to refining the program and materials into a course that has helped thousands of students.
