Summer Beam Books is a place for books, ideas, creativity, and community. Throughout the year, we host author events, conversations, workshops, seasonal gatherings, and other reasons to come together here in Philomath.
And sometimes, we take the bookstore on the road. Summer Beam Books travels to Timber Framers Guild conferences and gatherings, as well as other conferences and events where books, craft, place, and community come together. Watch this page to see where we'll be next.

Come downtown in costume for Philomath’s annual Trunk or Treat! Main Street businesses will be joining in the Halloween fun, with treats for costumed visitors between 12th and 17th Streets and at the museum parking lot.
Summer Beam Books will be participating — stop by the bookstore and say hello while you make your way through downtown. Costumes encouraged, of course!

ON THE ROAD
Summer Beam Books headed to New Hampshire for TimberFest, joining the Timber Framers Guild community for a weekend of timber framing, learning, gathering, and time outdoors.
We brought the Summer Beam mobile bookstore along and were proud to support TimberFest with a $500 event sponsorship.
AROUND PHILOMATH
We loved taking part in Philomath’s Sip & Stroll, an afternoon of neighbors gathering downtown to explore local businesses and enjoy regional drinks with friends.
Summer Beam Books was delighted to partner with Wildcraft Cider for the celebration.
